Finding a needle in a haystack property for a high end craftdistillery… The Realtor's perspective in helping clients to build a uniquebusiness.

When Woody Creek Distillers began looking fora property in the Aspen area to build a state of the art "craftdistillery", it didn't sound like a big deal. During the heightof the recession, there were many commercial buildings on the market, and somesellers were quite motivated to make a deal.

Looking in to the requirements of such a project made thetask more daunting, however… Once we looked in to the federal restrictions regardingthe distilling of alcohol and evaluated the unique requirements of such abusiness, the list of available properties became very short.
